Still I like Libre Office a lot on my Mac, as it’s lightning fast and when this problem is fixed, I think I’m completely good to go to replace Word.
I’m listing sub-items in a bulleted list and that’s where the fun starts of unexpected extra vertical spacing… Very unexpected and unpleasant behavior, which I’m not used to in MickeySoft Word… Type and a space before your text, and Word will make a bulleted list. Word will automatically start a numbered list for you.
to adjust space between numbering and text, bullets and text in Microsoft word. Line spacing is set to single for each line in my table (i’m using a table with 3 columns to design an invoice. I imagine you have dont add space between paragraphs of the same style selected. To start a numbered list, type 1, a period (.), a space, and some text. Excel will add the necessary 0 in front to make the numbers of 4 digits. The Spacing values for above and below paragraph are both set to 0.00. The line spacing can be changed (i.e., single space or double space), but Phyllis cannot discover a way to add space before and/or after the lists. I even checked “Don’t add space between paragraphs of the same style”. 2 Phyllis is looking for the easiest way to add spacing before and after the items in bulleted or numbered lists. Unfortunately I don’t see any functional solution… I already suspected the bullets from messing up the line spacing and after some testing I determined I’m suffering from the same problem as Luke described up here (over 2 yrs ago). I’m new at LibreOffice, and I’m running into the same problem as above.
